Upgrade 20040914.
Hello,
I made a "wine" upgrade from 2003121 to 20040914. I then installed a
program "EasyBridge" that worked perfect with the 2003121 version. The
installation was without any problems, and at the end of the
installation the program started automatically, also withouth problems.
But when I later on recall the program with "wine Easy...

Problem with installation.
tar xzvf wine-20040914.tar.gz
this created a directory ~/wine-20040914
su
# ./configure
this generated a longwinded error message to the effect that it is unable to
guess my system type.
# ./configure --build=i686

Hello I am new to the list, and recently began using Redhat Linux 9. I am
also a new WINE user, I went to the binaries page and there seemed to be
some many WINE binary packages, since I am new I did'nt know which one to
download. How would I know which binary package to download?

Can't compile 20040914
Hello all.
I can't compile wine-20040914 cleanly: I have to make depend && make -i to
skip an error in sfnt2fnt.c:
gcc -g -O2 -o sfnt2fnt sfnt2fnt.o -L/usr/local/lib -Wl,--rpath
-Wl,/usr/local/lib -lfreetype -lz -L../libs/unicode -lwine_unicode

I saw on a number of recent posts references to config file.
I installed wine from source 20040914.
In my directory ~/.wine I have the following:
[john]: 06:12 PM [~/.wine]
$ ls
dosdevices/ drive_c/ system.reg userdef.reg user.reg
In the source directory I have the following:

$ ls

Pb with the version reference
Hello,
I install wine 20041201 with a rpm from sourceforge.
I always have a wrong version number :
[didier@Lucius didier]$ ls -l /usr/bin/wine
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 7036 d?c 1 21:42 /usr/bin/wine*
[didier@Lucius didier]$ /usr/bin/wine

I remove the package and reinstall without succeed.

rpm install
I have in /home/john/Documents the rpm file 'wine-20040914-mdk.i586.rpm'
changing to 'su' will permit the installation of the package by using
rpm -iv wine-20040914-mdk.i586.rpm
I know that by using the command 'winhelp' the directory /home/john/.wine will
be created.
I forgot how I happen to know this. What document source would tell...

Lotus notes 6 on Mandrake Linux
Hi,
I am trying to run Notes on Mandrake linux 10 official
with wine version 20040914. I have notes installed in
my C driver winXP(NTFS). No success so I went to
google. I saw this mail at

broken links after update to FC3

But they don't work and have a red box around them, I assume that means

Building wine-i386 on x86_64 linux
Hi,
I'm trying to build Wine as a 32 bit program on my x86_64 machine,
running Fedora Core 2. I downloaded Wine-20040914.tar.gz specified that
I wanted to use the 32-bit compilers with:
CC=/usr/bin/i386-redhat-linux7-gcc
CXX=/usr/bin/i386-redhat-linux7-g++ CPP_FLAGS=-m32 CXXFLAGS=-m32
./configure
I then did make depend and make, and everything appears to be being
built with the correct compilers until:
