tinc on fedora core 8
Hello, I would like to install the latest tinc software on a fedora 8 Linux box. I tried the rpm for FC3 from http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/tinc/, and I got dependency errors complaining that libcrypto.so.4 is needed. I've got openssl rpm package installed which uses a different versino of libcrypto, and creating symbolic links won't solve the issue. Then I found this article

localboot not working in PXELINUX 2.02
Hello, We're using the PXELINUX to boot remote kickstart and Linux rescue images. Recently we got some new hardware (Compaq DL360) which required me to upgrade from PXELINNUX 1.75 to 2.02. Everything works fine on the new hardware, but the "localboot 0" option now just hangs on some of our older boxes. Specifically, our "Tyan Thunder 2510" motherboards with integrated

First off, Johnny and all of the rest of the CentOS team, thank you for your efforts! Second, to all with this problem, I too experienced the issue (I posted on the CentOS-Devel list my findings).? Eicon Diva PCI 2.02 (not server)
Hi. I've been trying out Asterisk and it looks good. I've have got the VoiP stuff working with some softphones and I'm very impressed. My next step was to interface it with my phone system here to try it out that way. I have an Eicon Diva PCI 2.02 (not server) lying around which I have put into my asterisk box and I've tried to configure it but I've had no luck so far.

copy problem in samba 2.02
Dear Gurus, I'm playing with samba 2.02 in my FreeBSD 3.1-stable box. I can browze the the server and its shares from my PC. The problem is when I tried to copy files from my PC to the samba shares, I got the following errors from my PC: "Can't create or replace filename: the specified network response or device is no longer available." I got this prompt almost everytime I

Update from 7.3 to 7.4 failing because of architecture change from PPC64 to PPC
Hello, I'm having problems updating from 7.3 to 7.4 on my ppc64 (IBM Power7 p770) installation. yum update stops with Error: Multilib version problems found. [..] Protected multilib versions: systemd-libs-219-42.el7.ppc != systemd-libs-219-42.el7_4.1.ppc64 When I scroll back through the transaction check I see various package dependencies for *.ppc instead of *.ppc64.
