Sangoma card dying after 1hour
Hello List I am having a rather big problem with a sangoma A104 card, I just installed to replace a Digium TE410 card, that was acting up. But now we have a problem with the sangoma card. It runs great after being started, and calls proceed as normal, but after about 1 hour, it stops being able to make and receive calls. If I run wanpipemon debug, can see that the card still receives

Finding memory leaks?
Where are the memory leaks and what is the way to fix them? I''m working on a game that was fairly stable in terms the memory consumption and it was staying at around 200MB. Recently it has gone crazy, and unless I restart it, it goes straight up to 350-400+MB after 30 minutes-1hour. I am using Apache 1.3+fcgi in production mode. Also the dispatch.fcgi processes take a really high toll (3-5%) on the CPU. ( 2.4GZ Xeon with 2 procs) Since it''s hosted (still) on a shared machine I have to constantly keep an eye on it. Any ideas, suggestions? Thanks, Bogdan -------------...

IO lockups and ext3 readonly filecorruption on RHEL4 (pre and post U4)
...boot... I'm seeing the same behavior regardless. Independent of hardware. Whitebox ATA, HA enclosure with dedicated SCSI, megaraid RAID hardware, Dell 2850s... same behavior: A semi-busy system will suddenly go into some kind of IO la-la land where nothing can be written to disk for >1hour. Of course when this happens, the ext3 kernel module freaks out and remounts all the filesystems as readonly. Then when the system is rebooted, if the system is allowed to fsck, the journal is hosed and the filesystem eats itself. Moving them off the RH kernel all together seems to fix the p...

xfsaild causing load, and stuck in D state - Centos 6.4 x64
...hanges. 10050 root 20 0 0 0 0 D 0.0 0.0 0:01.17 xfsaild/sdb1 My only way to fix this, is either rebooting the machine, unmounting the volume and mounting it back online. I've been rsyncing data twice between this server and another one. The rsync process takes about 30m-1hour. After the rsync operation I see that the xfsaild is stuck in D State and my Load is near 1.00. I'v had no problem what-so-ever on centos 6.3 or early versions on other servers. Any thoughts ? Information, help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Best regards, Svavar

Question about range select for static file serve in icecast
...an be delayed for any duration... (I plan to have daily dumps, so you can have from 24h to a few sec delay) Otherwise, without range, I'll have to feed the dump into icecast as a stream with an ices playlist (this worked, but then your're limited to a particular delay: if your start ices 1hour after begining the dump, you'll have 1h delay. For multiple delays, you need multiple ices instances. Too much.). >>- what I have to put into my http request to fetch the file? i tried adding a range get variable, but i failed. >> >> > >I think the header should b...

Weighted packet shaping?
Hi all, Im new to all this, and am still trying to get my head qround some of the concepts of how this all works. Ive read the howto''s, man pages etc. Ive setup packet shaping on my router/server box using HTB and SFQ, but its not working the way i would like. Im after shaping that has "weights" for classes so that a lower priority class will slow down when a higher class

Question about range select for static file serve in icecast
Hi, i'm trying to use range in a static file served by icecast 2.2 I can't find an example of an http request. Is something like http://my-icecast-server.com:8000/my-static-file.ogg?range=bytes%3D120000- correct? I can't get that working. Maybe I forgot an option on icecast side. I tried to open that file (without range) in winamp 5, but it downloads all the file while playing and

What is wrong here (continued...)?
Hi all, Here is a RRD graph ive just made of my packet shaping setup: http://www.overclockers.com.au/~mwp/temp/tc-1hour.png The app creating the P-25 traffic is bittorrent on the Linux box also doing the shaping. P-22 and P-23 is created by FTP transfers. Starts with bittorrent running. At 00:03, an FTP transfer is started on "cool.comp" (windows box). At 00:09, bittorrent is stopped. At 00:13, an FTP tr...
