interpolation
Dear R-users,
I have a complex line by xy-values (ordered by z).
And I would like to get interpolated y-values on the positions of x = 0:600.
How do I get the correct points?

why biomaRt cannot extract 3UTR sequences for 1941 ENSGxxxxx ?
I executed the following lines several times from a script as well as pasting them in an R shell.
Systematically biomaRt is failing.
The problem is to extract the 3UTR sequences corresponding to a vector containing 1941
Ensembl Transcript numbers (some are duplicated ... is this s problem ?)
Please, find the failing instructions in the following including the ENST vector
Any suggestion is welcome. Thank you,

date_select and sessions
i am using date_select to allow someone to select their birthdate in a
form. however date_select uses 3 wierd labels in the forms like
follows:
<select name="user[birthdate(1i)]">
<option value="1940">1940</option>

and then the month is user[birthdate(2i)] and so on. My issue is i
dont know the best way to keep this data in a session (if there is a
user error on the form and want to keep data populated). Also if
someone wants to edit their birthdate later on after a find() ca...

cannot get rsync to run completely - Really need some help in fixing this.
I'm trying to get rsync to do a complete backup of a NetWare server on the same LAN. For some reason it either completes the reading of the file list and starts copying files (only about 25) then it stops with the following error:
rsync error: error in socket IO (code 10) at io.c(1941)
or it does nto start up at all.
I'm using version 2.63 as a .nlm on the NetWare server.
Other errors I see are:
rsync : writefd_unbuffered failed to write 4096 bytes: phase "unknown": connetction reset by peer
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream(code 12) at io c(836)
