[homes] not usable in 18p4?
We just upgraded from samba-1.9.17p2 to 1.9.18p4 and seemed to have lost the ability to connect to the "[homes]" service. When users try to use that service, the NT logon dialog always returns with "invalid password or username" error. Using an explicit user name works. OS: IRIX 6.2 log.smb has the following: ERROR: Recursion in sig_cld? Perhaps you need `#define USE_WAITPID'? 04/25/1998 16:30:30 Connection denied from 206.197.67.130 04/25/1998...

Compile problems, 19p7
...om incompatible pointer type Compiling client.c client.c: In function `browse_host': client.c:2972: warning: passing arg 4 of `qsort' from incompatible pointer type The compile keeps running and otherwise runs fine; this is the first time that I've had any kind of warnings using gcc (18p4 compiled fine with gcc 2.8.1). Should I worry about this? I'd think that GCC would always be the compiler of choice these days... I've seen similar messages about Solaris machines but nobody has mentioned which compiler that they're using. Eric A. Stewart - Network Admin, otherwise...
