Re: My domU cpuinfo shows "cache seize: 16KB" ater upgrading to Xen-3.3.0... but in Xen-3.2 it has 2048KB!
No one knows about this?!
It''s normal for domU in Xen-3.3 to have only 16KB of CPU cache size?

Speex memory usage?
...uld fit in 8 kB RAM, maybe in 4 kB, but certainly not in 1 kB.

Is there any thing in the the 8kB of RAM that is always the same (lookup
table etc.) or did you already think of that? I'm curios since the
ATmega168 got 16kB of Flash that is as fast as the RAM (I think the chip
is made so it limits its maximum speed to the slowest memory, flash. it
also has some EEPROM besides the SRAM).

how RED should work ?
...trying to understand how RED queue discipline works but i am
having a few troubles.
The parameters are MIN , MAX , LIMIT , BURST
I put LIMIT = 64Kb, so if i am not wrong it should PDROP anything over
this value , right ?
i put MIN = 8Kb , so no drops at all below this value, right ?
i put MAX = 16Kb, starts to early drop anything above this using probability P.
I put probability at 0.5 [very high , just for test]
i PUT burst at 20 [actually , no idea what really put in here]
but after a while downloading at full speed i still get no drops at
all. Using 50% probability i should get at least 1...

oom-killer.
Hi all,
Just watching for my first time the 'oom-killer' call in a CentOS 4.2
workstation. System was running normally but with high load of nice process,
iow, rosetta and seti, others appart, nautilus, etc... i realized that after a
night of standby running normally, the next moorning after few manual operations
from X-session in local console, it started a massive swapping, this time
