...nly useing 1 core. While when i run native Linux apps they use both cores. Also the games and programs that i am running under wine use both cores when run under windows. I am migrating off of a 40GIG hda to a new 160GIG sda disk. I plan on installing 4.2 from scratch. But after that what is the correct way do transfer all the data from hda (home partition really) to the new sda home partition? I presume there is just a couple files in /etc to restore also. Like hosts, passwd. Anything else? Other suggestions...

I have a 3.5 TB RAID 5 Array through a 3ware 9590SE 8 port card, and am running into what seems like quite a lot of problems trying to get the system installed correctly. Greetings, I just got new Dell PowerEdge SC1420 and a 6 channel SATA RAID controller card (Adaptec 2610SA from Dell also) When I attempt to install CentOS 4.2, it doesnt find the RAID 1 mirror I set up.
