...ut people still use windows server and i'm one of them. I have windows server and i would like to do back up by create its hard drive image. Does any one have suggest for a software? I plan to back up every night, so I need some kind of schedule, i prefer usb or firewire, my hard drive is 160GB. Anybody knows how long it takes to duplicate 160GB image? If I''m gonna use OpenSolaris, I will have to buy new hardware, which I can''t really defend at the moment. But I may be able to defend it in the near future if using redundancy on ZDF uses less disk space as simply getting extra drives and do identical copies, with periodic CRC checks of the source material to check the health. Or will I use as much drive space with redundancy?

Hi all, Does anyone know if it's possible to recover an LVM partition from a drive that was fdisked? I accidently fdisk'd the wrong drive (had to fdisk a lot of 160GB drivers from old servers and one still has important data on that client now wants) by running fdisk /dev/sdc & deleting the partitions.
