Asterisk to Linphone sound playback delay, and then choppy
...fect. I thought it might be because I was using OSS emulation, but I recompiled to use ALSA pure (without 'Jack', that had issues) and got the exact same results. Does anyone have a working config they could post, or any idea what may be the issue? I am running Asterisk on a 1600Mhz laptop, so I doubt it's short of cycles - and I don't think I did anything special as regards config. I used this as a template for the linphone config http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/index.php?page=Asterisk+phone+linphone I've tried the apt-get asterisk (1.2 I think) on De...

Failed to setup GSI - dom0 Linux Kernel Boot Issues
...an 120 seconds (khubd can be udevd also) "echo 0> /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs" disables this message Things I''ve tried: 1. Switching from UUID to /dev/sdb3 in fstab and in /boot/syslinux/syslinux.conf 2. Rebuilding initramfs Hardware: Phenom II x6 1100T 16GB DDR3 1600MHz Memory 3x Nvidia GeForce GTX570 2x 500GB HDDs (no RAID, no lvm, just ext2 boot and ext4 root/home partitions) Booting this same Linux kernel + initramfs without Xen kernel works perfectly (with the obvious sole exception of failing to start the xend service). ____________________________________...

samba 4.x slow ...
just to verify basic facts: Did you cross check vie network sniff, on which SMB protocol versions Server + Win 7 clients agree ? Or did you pin down via registry ? AFAIK only starting with win 8 or win 10 clients you could ask with powershell, which protocol version is in use. Did you also cross check samba logs for a name resolution issue ( windows names, not DNS) if one of your boxes is an

pci pass-through, NIC card
Hi, I am trying to make the vt-d and pci pass-through work and I have some problems. I just try to give a NIC to an HVM guest. When I create the vm the hypervisor goes to an infinite loop, it displays in loop the message enclosed (console_on_xm_create). I use xen x86_64, debian etch dom0 with linux-2.6.18.8-xen 32. The hvm guest is a debian etch 64. Cheers, -- Jean Guyader
