Drop non-integers
Hello all,
I have a fairly simple data manipulation question. Say I have a dataframe
like this:
dat <- as.data.frame(runif(7, 3, 5))
dat$cat <- factor(c("1","4","13","1","4","13","13A"))
dat
runif(7, 3, 5) cat
1 3.880020 1
2 4.062800 4
3 4.828950 13
4 4.761850 1
5 4.716962 4
6 3.868348 13
7 3.420944 13A
Under the dat$cat variable the 13A value is an analytical replicate. For my
purposes I would like to drop all values...

10.0 BETA3 - nanobsd.sh does not use pkg
Hi, all,
I just wanted to report that. I do not yet have a patch to suggest.
nanobsd.sh cust_pkg() still tries to call pkg_add and fails when
adding packages to the NANO_WORLD_DIR. tbz vs. txz ?
Kind regards
Patrick

Application error (Apache) -- depot_final sample code
...evelopment with Rails" book
(http://pragmaticprogrammer.com/titles/railscode.html), and keep getting
the "Application error (Apache)" screen when I go to
127.0.0.1:3000/admin/new.
I tried this on 2 different Win2K machines with the same error. One
machine has the latest version (13a) of InstantRails installed, on the
other I did a manual install of Ruby, and Rails (just using Webrick,
Apache not installed). Other rails apps (that I started from scratch
on) work on both machines.
Any ideas?

All possible paths between two nodes in a flowgraph using igraphs?
...rmediate node more
than once.
- A jth-order loop consists of j nontouching first-order loops.
For example, in the flowgraph below
http://n4.nabble.com/file/n2125321/flowgraph_subsume.jpg
there are 18 paths between nodes 1 and a:
- 1a;
- 12a, 124a, 1243a, 1245a, 12436a, 124365a, 12456a, 124563a;
- 13a, 134a, 136a, 1342a, 1345a, 13456a, 1365a, 13654a, 136542a.
3 first-order loops:
- 12431, 1245631, 45634;
and no loops of order two or more.
Thanks in advance

boot0cfg and gmirror ...
...e disks, but not to the mirror as a whole.
Weird. Any ideas? What bad things can happen if I keep updating
the MBRs of both individual disks seperately - besides bad
karma and "See? I told you so!" in case I generate an inconsistent
state?
Thanks,
Patrick

cisco 3620 setup (newbie cisco alert)
I'm experimenting (using for the first time) with using a cisco3620 to
connect to the PSTN via a channelised E1 interface, with * handling all
of the SIP calls.
If anyone has any installation tips / help / documentation I would be
most appreciative :)
However, my first question is this: when I am in the setup, I see the

TE410P / Eicon PRI
for today we only have experience with BRI applications together with asterisk.
is the following scenario possible and stable enough for production?
FYI : We want to build a unified messaging application integrated with SIP.
We have an E1 connection in Belgium with 100 msn's
We would think about having 2 servers :
Server A : Asterisk
PRI card (Digium TE410P)
Server B : Fax

dtmf tone clamping in calls to external ivr
Hello,
I'm having trouble working out how to send DTMF tones to an external
IVR. My system has an analog phone connected to a TDM400P card, a SIP
software phone (Zultys LIPZ4) and is connected to a BRI in Australia
with a NETjet-S card. I'm using ISDN4Linux and a 2.4.25 kernel patched
with the ISDN audio patch from Traverse (which allows the card to do
voice).
DTMF works fine between

ISDN p2p AVM Fritz Card
hello!
I'd like to use my asterisk-box on a p2p-line from my alcatel pbx.
isdn4linux and capi works fine on a s0-line from the pbx, but i need
more then 8 msns, cause i'd like to implement a voice-mail system and an
extension to our "old" pbx with voip-phones.
had anyone success using isdn4linux on a t0 (p2p) line (of course with
an inexpensive passive card like my avm
