Unable to successfully join Samba 4.8.0 or Windows 2008 R2 to a Samba 4.6.7 DC
...One thing that I will note is that I also saw SPN creation failures when attempting to join Windows 2008 R2. So it’s not a Samba 4.8.0 problem. It’s a problem with my database (help!). Just to connect the dots, this bug has been filed for the same issue: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13336 This commit in master might be a fix: commit 5c1504b94d1417894176811f18c5d450de22cfd2 Author: Gary Lockyer <gary at catalyst.net.nz> Date: Wed Feb 28 11:47:22 2018 +1300 ldb_tdb: Do not fail in GUID index mode if there is a duplicate attribute It is not the job of the index...

Simply_RESTful and Bulk Import URLs
Hi, I have a people controller, and want to import bulk import multiple people from a CSV file. In my routes.rb file I have: map.resource :person Now, it''s a little unclear to me how to further configure the routes to allow me to add the following URLs: I need a URL to choose a file to upload, so I need an HTML ''frontend'' for it, so I figured the following URL

I need storage server advice
Hi: I need advice on implementing a storage server. I really do not have the $ to spend for a Dell iSCSI storage divice and I am thinking trunning CentOS 5.x with ftp or FreeNAS. Here is what I am looking at and concerned about. Situation: My current storage needs are approximately 1.5 TB annually. Over 400 smbd pid's?
Over the past 2 days, my smbd processes are multiplying worse than rabbits. At least with rabbits it's easy to tell why you wind up with so many... The samba server acts as a PDC in a mixed environment but mostly windows pc's running xp. It is used mostly for file
