error compiling dahdi for recent kernels
Seems like I post about this about once a year, when it's time to upgrade
Fedora.
I first got this error trying to compile a patched version of
dahdi-linux-2.11.1; I noticed that there is now a
dahdi-linux-complete-3.0.0+3.0.0, so I tried that one with the same result.
If I compile it while running kernel-4.16.8-300.fc28.x86_64, it compiles
fine, but when I try to compile it while

the dahdi card. The dahdi card sends it out on the PRI line. Trouble is,
the DTMF is echoed back and the echo canceller doesn't catch it. So
asterisk thinks there is a an inbound DTMF happening :

CENTOS and INTEL S775 C2D E6750 2.66G 1333 RTL
I am building a Centos machine for a specific piece of third party
software.
Can I assume that the IA64 verson of CENTOS 4.5 will run on this CPU?
Are there any differences in basic libraries between 4.0 and 4.5?

1333/8GB Intel motherboard for C5.1
Hi there, has anyone run into any Desktop/Workstation Intel brand motherboards that work with CentOS 5.1 (4.6/3.9 out of box compatibility is a very large plus) and work with the 1333MHZ cpus such as the 8400/9450 and accept 8GB of RAM? The closest we've found so far is the DG31PR which is alright but it has the limitation of 4GB of RAM and an unsupported Realtek NIC. The DQ35JO is also ok, but requires quite a bit of 'jostling' to get to work such as pci=nommconf an...

update_all Not Incrementing lock_version
Shouldn''t update_all be updating lock_version? As you can see from my
console session below, it is upating the record (changed running
attribute to true and returned 1 to show 1 recored was updated). But it
did not increment lock_version. And optimistic locking is working
correctly otherwise. As you can see below, lock version = 562 before
and after the update_all call but it is

Will this be sufficient for 20+ concurrent calls?
...production and we are
buying the Digium TE121-card for use with an ISDN-30 connection. We
are considering buying a Fujitsu-Siemens Primergy TX200 S4 -
http://www.fujitsu-siemens.com/products/standard_servers/tower/primergy_tx200s4.html
- for handling the calls. Quad-Core Xeon, 2.5 GHz / 2 x 6 MB / 1333
Mhz. 2 GB RAM, 3.5" SATA II discs. I know this is a rather vague
question that can not be precisely answered, but mainly handling calls
w/ playback of local gsm-files - that is, no redirection to other
clients etc. - will it be sufficient for 20-something concurrent
calls?

Xeon 5160 vs 5080
Chip Clock HT Cache Bus Speed
---------------------------------------------------------
5080 3.7 GHz YES 2MB 1066 MHz
5160 3.0 GHz NO 4MB 1333 MHz
Does the .7 GHz and HT worth more then 4MB cache and higher bus speed? The
application is VoIP so there is not a lot of IO so I would not think Bus
Speed would matter. I am finding mixed information on HT, some say it is
great, others say it actually slows things down, could this be why the ne...
