[LLVMdev] RFC: Tail call optimization X86
...cording to the target abi. In order to prevent this
when calculating the argument size (and when tail-call-opt-align-stack
is enabled) i make the resulting argument size a multiple of the
target alignment (minus the return address slot).
So in the example above the argument stack slot size would be 12bytes
for both functions.(on darwin-x86 which requires the stack to be
16byte aligned - which i found out by mistake - because dynamically
linked function calls would not work ;)
this results in a stack adjustment that is a multiple of the target
stack alignment.
Maybe the default should be to perform t...

Thinkpad X61s cannot boot 9.1-BETA1
Hi,
Did anyone else experience this? With 9.1-BETA1 the boot process
freezes, among the last lines with verbose boot are
acpi_acad0: On Line
acpi_acad0: acline initialization done, tried 1 times
after this, dead.
What is supposed to happen in the next stage?
This laptop worked fine with 9-STABLE to at least february.

Strange reboot since 9.1
Hello,
Since FreeBSD 9.1 I have strange problems with the distribution. Some
servers are rebooting without any kernel panic, instanly. First i
thought it's a problem with my KVM system, but one of my FreeBSD under a
Dell R210 have the same problem.
The servers concerned are now:
- Monitoring server
- LDAP test server
- Some other servers, randomly (not in production).
First i thought it's
