icecast2 is killed when client connects (on sparc32)
hi !
i have succesfully compiled libshout/icecast/ices on a quad ss20
(4xhypersparc@125mhz, 128mb ram). ten out of ten for a robust,
cross-platform build, guys ! it compiled straight out of the box.
i can start the server and it even connects to a remote server and
starts to relay. when i run xmms from another machine and connect, it
stops at "pre-buffering 0/32k". here'...

fxp performance with POLLING
Hello again :)
With POLLING enabled I experience about 10%-25% performance drop when
copying files over network. Tested with both SAMBA and NFS. Is it normal?

Samba and Window XP write performance
I did some testing using samba-3.0.0 as a server and two identical clients
one Running W2K and other running Win XP pro.
If I write a big file using the W2K client, I'm getting about 25 Mbytes/sec
but if I run the same testing using the Win XP Pro, this
client only is able to get 12.5 Mbytes/sec.
There is a problem between XP and samba?

Added 8-point forward DCT following the algorithm suggested in Theora specs.

Created 2-d IDCT according to Theora specs (16-bit registers, 16x16 -
multiplier).
Each IDCT pass uses one of the embedded multipliers (18x18) and run at twice
the pixel frequency (currently at 125MHz), total 530 slices (7%).
