...rver with winbind as the file
server (I'll call this file server A).
At the other location, I have samba 2.2.5 set up as a PDC and file server
(I'll call this file server B). Both of these locations have DSL lines, and
I'm going to set up a wireless network to save $80 a month. At 11mbps, I
wouldn't want to run file server A over wireless. I would like to
reconfigure file server B as a domain member with winbind. The
authentication would take place over the wireless link.
Now if the wireless link goes down for some reason, I could go to an XP box
and log in, and it would...

MAC problems
FreeBSD version: 5.1-RELEASE
Hi,
I'm quite new to FreeBSD. I've check list archives and
read a handbook, but I didn't find solution to my problem
and I hope this is not off-topic.
I've installed 5.1-RELEASE, enabled ACLs on the filesystems
and I wanted to test MAC features. I'm also new to MAC, so
perhaps this is some my mistake.
When I enable mac_biba or mac_lomac (in

Any recommendations?

QoS in wireless networks
Hello,
I''m trying to configure several wireless routers with QoS support. The
idea is to implement differentiated services so that VoIP traffic gets
the maximal priority, then video, control traffic, interactive data
traffic and best-effort traffic.
I have seen that CBQ used to be chosen as qdisc for implementing
bandwith share in DiffServ but now HTB is preferred because it is
