keep a mount point
Hello,
I want to create a international web radio. I have a lot of source
around the world and I want to have only one mount point. My sources
will change according a planning. For example, source A works between
9h-10h and source B between 10h and 11h.
My question is : how to make it without disconnect clients ? How can I
keep my mount point during the sources switching ?
I can develop a software in perl or C.
Thanks.

Booting a bootable CD-ROM
...ented at a low level (reading/writing IDE controller registers) rather
than relying on the int 13h services provided by the system BIOS.
Booting hard disks is working OK and I am now trying to get bootable CD/DVD
disks to work using the following code:
1) Issue an ATAPI command to read sector 11h
2) Use the value at offset 47h to read the validation entry and initial
section entry
3) Use the loadrba value from the initial section entry to read the
first sector of executable code
4) Copy that sector to 07C0:0000
5) Pass execution to the start of the read sector at 07C0:0000...

In that case, why not output '5' when you want 5?

Duncan.

Booting a bootable CD-ROM
To elaborate a little further....
The code that currently does the following is executed as part of a
replacement for the BIOS interrupt 19h bootstrap process.
1) Issue an ATAPI command to read sector 11h
2) Use the value at offset 47h to read the validation entry and initial
section entry
3) Use the loadrba value from the initial section entry to read the

quality vs bitrate
The problem is that the mp3 dewdz will be used to looking at bitrates to
determine quality, so the solution (as several here say) seems to me to just
rip out anything mentioning bitrate from the simple tools.
But, they will still see the bitrate in players like winamp.
To solve this, why not store the quality setting used when encoding into the
ogg file itself ? Either use a field unused when

[LLVMdev] Re : How to assign a constant to a register?
...s that are assigned a constant value by their
definitions.
Example:
x = 5
y = x + 1
z = x * y
becomes
y = 5 + 1
z = 5 * y

unload memdisk+FreeDOS => local boot
Sensei H. Peter Anvin,
I have successfully modified/enhanced memdisk so that one can chainload a
local operating system after running diskless FreeDOS.
I would like your advice regarding the appropriate interface for invoking
this functionality.
In addition, I would like to know what steps to take so that you feel
comfortable considering including this in the standard syslinux
distribution.

Printing Issues with NT type Clients.
Hi. To begin with, I have a freshly built RedHat Linux 8.0 box running samba 2.2.8a. The kernel version is 2.4.18-14. I downloaded and compiled samba from source. I am using LPRng-3.8.9-6 as my printing system. The attached printer is a Lexmark Z22 printer and it is attached to the parralel port.
Problem:
For the life of me, I can't get NT type clients, NT4, 2K and XP to print to samba.
