Samba Printer Accounting
Howdy,
I'm looking for a piece of software I can use for accounting printers shared
on a Linux box via Samba, to Win98/2K/XP machines on a domain. In other
words, I want to be able to give user a print quota (say, $3.00), then charge
them 10c per page they print from a Windows client to a printer shared from a
Linux box running Samba. If they're out of quota, it doesn't print (and
doesn't tie up the print queue for everybody else).
I can't find any workable solutions. I tried PrintBill, but it's rather

US pstn => voip
...they could call, which would route to my * box, preferable via
IAX or failing that SIP, (I haven't manged to get sip to work with DTMF yet,
hence my preference). However I can only find providers of local numbers,
or toll free numbers, both of which incur an inbound call rate of between 2c
and 10c / minute, plus a monthly charge.
Does anyone know of a provider who provides such a service either in US or
Canada? I have googled for days on this one, and have come up with next to
nothing.

Mask Initial Processing with Ring Back Tone
I need to process a number of lines of code in the dialplan before answering a
call. Can standard ring back tones be played to the caller while this is
happening prior to answering the call. Which commands would facilitate this?

Simplex difficulties
I'm exploring the simplex algorithm with a simple transportation problem
of the form:

subject to the constraints:

unexpected dirty buffer
Hello.
On a server running 2.4.25, I have the two following errors in the
kernel logfile:

CentOS: scanning
...t scan! Both kooka and xsane report "no devices
available." That doesn't affect printing, but every time I have to scan
something, I've to go back to Mandriva or Ubuntu.
I've had this HP psc-2410 for a couple of years. I scanned successfully
with Fedora Core-3, Mandrake-10C, Mandriva-2006.0, and Ubuntu-2.6.15, but
*not* CentOS-4.4!

SER vs STUND with Asterisk..
One for the gurus..
I have seen there has been a lot of discussion about using SER with
Asterisk.. This to me seemed like an over kill becasue it would

Implementing secondary quota w/ "Archive" namespace
...on them. A *copy* will trigger the quota error. But a *move* just
happily piles on to the overquota namespace. Is that normal?
E.g., here's the maildirsize from the 'archive' namespace (with quotas set
absurdly low for testing) and I just moved some messages into it from INBOX:

and it'll just keep tacking on. As you can see it's over on bytes and # of
messages. But it will successfully block a copy. This behavior of ignoring
the quota for moves goes in both directions, from INBOX to 'archive' and
vice versa.

I have a program with over 100 loads (each with a 10 cycle latency)
at the beginning of the program, and I can't figure out how to get
the machine scheduler to intermix ALU instructions with the loads to
effectively hide the latency.
It seems the issue is with load clustering. I restrict load clustering
to 4 at a time, but when I look at the debug output, the loads are

Double integration - Gauss Quadrature

I would like to solve a double integral of the form
\int_0^1 \int_0^1 x*y dx dy
using Gauss Quadrature.
I know that I can use R's integrate function to calculate it:
