Bad smbclient put performance and smbfs write performance
Hi,
I've had extremely bad smbclient put performance when connecting from my Linux
box to a Windows 95 box. I only get about 10KBytes/s! All other forms of data
transfer work fine, and I get from 600-700KBytes/s. This is on a local 10BT
LAN. I've seen a few other reports of this, but no solutions as of yet.
smbclient does puts just fine to another Linux/Samba Server. I'm using Samba
2.0.3, the Linux machines are running kernel 2.2.7, glibc-2.1, egcs-1.1.2.
I've two Win95 machines, both perform equally poorly.

Cisco MC3810
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to asterisk and trying to get together the hardware to run a few POTS
phone extentions and one or two POTS lines for starters. For these low port
counts, I could just go with FXS and FXO cards, but...
I can get a Cisco MC3810 with a mixture of FXO and FXS ports, the MC3810 comes
with a built in ethernet port and I believe it does SIP too...
Will this mean that I

Forklift a 2000 phone PBX
I'm staring at an RFP--this company wants to replace a 2000 position PBX
(at eight locations) with a new system. Their mindset is Nortel/Avaya
because they talk about 28-button digital sets. The do specify a few IP
phones for just one location, so they are aware of VoIP.
I'm going to bid on this--there's nothing to lose except the time it
takes to write the proposal. I'll

Survey: Grandstream improvements.........
Hi List,
I had a wonderful meeting with GS's President last week
and he is very interested in feedback on what top features,
functions, bugs the community would like to see in upcoming
firmware.
Please keep in mind that adding new features take time
to develop, test and such.
So please rate your ideas on a scale of 1-10
1 = Nice to have some day
10 = Got to have it right now
