Back on X, stout has "building file list ... done \nKbup_1.aaa\nKbup_1.aaa\n"

I wonder - would it be possible to write a filter that performs
concatenation? I know we don't support multiple uses of a plugin in the
same nbdkit process, but it might be possible to have a filter that
allows '0..m-1' to forward to the normal plugin, and 'm....

[PATCH nbdkit filters-v2 3/5] filters: Add nbdkit-offset-filter.
This very basic filter allows you to select an offset and range within
a plugin, for example:
nbdkit --filter=offset file file=foo offset=1M range=100M
which serves the byte range [ 1M .. 101M-1 ] from file ‘foo’.

puppet: 3.1.1 -> 3.2.1 load increase
Hi,
I recently updated from puppet 3.1.1 to 3.2.1 and noticed quite a bit of
increased load on the puppetmaster machine. I''m using
the Apache/passenger/rack way of puppetmastering.
Main symptom is: higher load on puppetmaster machine (8 cores):
- 3.1.1: around 4
- 3.2.1: around 9-10
Any idea why there''s more load on the machine with 3.2.1?

default cluster.stripe-block-size for striped volumes on 3.0.x vs 3.3 beta (128kb), performance change if i reduce to a smaller block size?
Hi,
I've been migrating data from an old striped 3.0.x gluster install to
a 3.3 beta install. I copied all the data to a regular XFS partition
(4K blocksize) from the old gluster striped volume and it totaled
9.2TB. With the old setup I used the following option in a "volume
stripe" block in the configuration file in a client :

php-cgi frozen with sbwait when SMP enable
Hello,
I have 4 web servers with lighttpd to serve one web site with DNS load
sharing. On the 2 SMP-enable web servers, there will be many php-cgi frozen
in 'sbwait' state every day. It means the php-cgi stay in 'sbwait' state,
and never be back to 'accept' or other state. If I restart them, there will
be frozen php-cgi appear some hours later.

hopeless - smb over bridged firewall
Dear List!
I use a shorewall 2.0.8 on a Debian sarge system. I use a DSL connection
to the Internet (ppp0 - eth1 to the modem) and a bridge to the local
lan. The bridged config i''ve made with bridge.html from the shorewall
site. The Bridge is between local net and a openvpn tap device. This
works. I ccan make tunnels, and a can make a lot of things through the
firewall. I can get a list
