Second,
The id in fact represents year-month-date of sampling (i.e., 10104 means
2001-01-04).
How can I split the id column into three columns of year, month, and date,
respectively such that I can do time-series analysis after aggregating them
for each month?
Or, Is there a way to transform the id into Date for doing irregular ts
analysis?
With much thanks,

How to get names into the *411 directory
...ch
extension, for the "Display Name" I just put something
like "XYZ Corp, Ext. 101". Because of this, listings
in "voicemail.conf" show up like this:
10101 => 101,XYZ Corp Ext. 101,Support@MyVOIPco.com,...
10105 => 105,XYZ Corp Ext. 101,Support@MyVOIPco.com,...
10104 => 104,XYZ Corp Ext. 101,Support@MyVOIPco.com,...
Once you know who goes with which extension you
can edit the "Display Name" for each extension,
or you can edit "voicemail.conf" manually:

networks. I've installed both the R program and the sna package. My next task
is importing the data into R.
Our data was entered into Spss in an edgelist format in which each case
specifies the link between an alter and an ego. For example:
10101 10102 1
10101 10103 3
10102 10104 2
10201 10203 4
10203 10204 2
The following data fragment for example shows an ego-centred network of 2
persons: 101 and 102. Person 101 for example reports of a closeness of ties
between alters 01 and 02 = value of 1; alters 01 and 03 - value of 3, etc.
Similarly Person 102 reports on...

I'm doing R&D on using Winbind to authenticate Active Directory users (W2K3S R2) on RHEL 6 servers. I have a working implementation of this using idmap_rid as the backend. I followed 'configuration 1' in the following guide:

3.6.10 file handle leak under ancient 32-bit kernel
Hello,
I've come across a curious issue with
Samba 3.6.10.
When running 'emacs' version
GNU Emacs 23.3.1 (i386-mingw-nt6.0.6002) of 2011-03-10 on 3249CTO
on Windows Server 2008 SP2 x64 and issuing
a file "revert" of one sort or another
against a Samba-served file, the 'smbd'
process leaks two or three handles.
Eventually, when 16k handles are open,
this causes
