I have SLOW file transfers across samba to my Windows Server 2000 domain. I am using a built in 100bT Intel Pro NIC, I have tried the built in gigabit NIC and a PCI 3com, all with the same results. The Sipura 3000 gives me the ability to get an FXO/FXS configuration that I can put anywhere in the network, which simplifies my wiring a bit (I'd rather push 100BT signals around than analog telephony), but I don't know how reliable it is in an FXO role compared to the TDM400. Am I missing another FXO hardware option that is even better? Also, does it matter if I am trying to use faxdetect on any of these ports in terms of which is a better interface?...

Hi, I have a user who is getting a strange error when popping his mail over a DSL line. The error in my log file is as follows: file client.c: line 237 (client_send_line): assertion failed: ((size_t)ret == str_len(str)) I can POP his mail just find here locally connected to the server via 100bT, but over his DSL link, he gets this error. His mailbox size is 24MB, and he is using outlook w/ the option 'leave a copy of messages on the server'. He has Outlook 2003 and we use Dovecot 1.0 test 42.
