Rsync Optimization for Long Haul Links
Rsync speed seems to be effected more by latency than bandwidth, why is
this?
I have been happily rsyncing all over the world for some time, but today I
had cause to sync 40GB of data to all our remote sites causing me to look
closer at the statistics.
We effectively pull data using.

bzImage size limits?
Hi,
What the the size limit of booting bzImage file with syslinux ?
I have tested different sized bzImage files, and when the files are

outbound IAX calls bog down DSL

used during IVR and then it is pass through.
I am collocating this server. Colo offer a monthly bandwidth quota. Lets say
I want to do 100K minutes per month of VoIP calling at the beginning. What

Problems with ADIT 600 - latency, loss, etc
I'm emailing this as the customer in this case, since my carrier appears
to be completely unable to solve this. A brief rundown of the problem:
- We have several voice lines going through the ADIT, of course into a
VoIP type of arrangement.
- Voice traffic will become choppy, even drop calls completely, at random
but quite often. Modem calls (which we needed unfortunately) are a joke.
-
