Problems compiling res_config_mysql (asterisk addons)
Hello All:
I'm having some difficutly getting res_config_mysql from the 1.4.1 addons
package to compile ( I need it for Realtime)
First of all, when I make everything appears to compile ok with no errors
however the res_config_mysql doesn't get compiled. So I tried "make
res_config_mysql" and a whackload of errors starting with the following:
# make res_config_mysql

So does 1.4.1 show up in the /branches/1.4, or only in the tags/1.4.1
Do I get 1.4.1 by just doing an svn up in a checkout of the 1.4 branch, or
do I have to switch to a new tag or branch for what I have checked out?
I did an svn up and there are new files, but nothing in the change
files about it being 1.4.1. Many packages with various minor
versions tend to have the master branch (like 1.4) mean "The latest

Need help decyphering 'make check' errors
I haven't been able to find any documentation explaining what these

guidance on this, I'd very much appreciate it.

[ANNOUNCE] xkbcomp 1.4.1
This release adds the path of the xkbcomp executable to the pkgconfig
data, allowing the X server to find the right binary regardless of
where its (the X servers) $prefix is pointed. Without this the X server
will guess that xkbcomp is configured for the same prefix; since the
default prefix is /usr/local, and your distribution certainly did not
install xkbcomp there, 'make check' and

The xinit program is used to start the X Window System server and a first

[ANNOUNCE] xf86-input-void 1.4.1
A few cleanup patches that have been sitting on the branch for almost a
year. The void driver is a dummy driver that does nothing and just fulfils
the requirements of really old servers that must have an input device.
It is just dead weight for any server released after 2007 or so. Don't use
it.

upgrading to 1.5.0/uninstalling 1.4.1 on Linux
Hi folks:
I have a feeling this must be a FAQ, but I did not find the answer in R
Installation and Administration manual. Please point me to the right place
to look for answer to this question if it's already answered.
I am running 1.4.1 on an Alpha PCA56 (aka 164SX) running Redhat Linux 7.1
(kernel 2.4.19-pre4). I built 1.4.1 from sources and it is installed in

Rails 1.2.2 upgrade problem
I was upgrading today from 1.1.2 to 1.2.2.
When I attempt to run the ruby script/server process now, I get the
errors below. I have looked through the
source files, but nothing obvious. The problem may be a constant which
now requires an explicit ''require filename'',
but don''t know how to find that constant.
Any help would be appreciated!
