Xen 4.4.1-rc1+ rebase
I've got a first cut of the rebase here: git://github.com/gwd/sig-virt-xen out/update-4.4.1-rc1-ee81dda-RFC To build it, you'll need to download the polarssl tarball: http://xenbits.xen.org/xen-extfiles/polarssl-1.1.4-gpl.tgz And you'll need a tarball based on (unfortunately) a private tree, which you can find here: git://github.com/gwd/xen base/update-4.4.1-rc1-ee81dda-RFC This

CentOS 6 domU console issue
Howdy, I'm having an issue with the console for CentOS 6 domUs. When I boot the domU I can see the console just fine. After grub has made its selection I get these errors: xenconsole: Could not open tty `': No such file or directory libxl: error: libxl_exec.c:118:libxl_report_child_exitstatus: console child [0] exited with error status 2 After that the boot process continues fine and

Issues with Ubuntu 22.04 and Installing the Latest Version of R (R 4.4.1) to Docker Image
And sorry for the spam, but I meant to say that the Dockerfile is basically following the steps from https://cloud.r-project.org/bin/linux/ubuntu/ as Lauren was trying to do but start by installing the pre-requisites needed to deploy the r-base package on a Ubuntu 22.04 Docker image (which is NOT a base 22.04 but a minimally striped version of 22.04). CentOS 6 Xen 4.4.1 packages available on virt6-testing
At long last, I've got some beta CentOS 6 4.4.1 packages up on the CBS. Major updates include: * Update to Xen 4.4.1. Also includes all XSAs through 114 * Update to latest blktap 2.5 * Updated libvirt packages (1.2.10), which work well with libxl To use, add the following to a file in /etc/yum.repos.d: [virt-testing] name=CentOS-$releasever - virt-testing

default pager is more
Was wondering why R help in recent Fedora only provided --More-- prompt for viewing, rather than allowing arrow key navigation as on RHEL. It turns out it uses a system command for paging and the current default pager is more: grep PAGER /usr/lib64/R/etc/Renviron PAGER=${PAGER-'/usr/bin/more'} rpm -qf /usr/lib64/R/etc/Renviron R-core-4.4.1-3.fc41.x86_64 This primarily affects function

Hi Dirk, Thank you so much for looking into this when you got home. I greatly appreciate it. I was actually in the midst of writing to everyone the following message: ?. ?. ?. Hi All, I have some good news. ? My docker image is now up-to-date with R version 4.4.1. I first had to clear a bunch of unused data using docker system prune ?force. Apparently, it cleared over 32.53 gigs of data, and

Lauren, I am now back home where looking into these things is a little easier. From your first email to me, I started off with the selenium container you mentioned as your starting point. And that basically is your issue. It is a 'high-level' container, and it sets a user. (Essentially) all other Dockerfiles you have seen and been pointed at are 'lower-level' and operate as root
