Fatal Error while Installing Baldur's Gate II
...Wine configuration and not having much luck. When I run Setup.exe from /cdrom, I get the Baldur's Gate II splash screen, the progress bar indicating that InstallShield is preparing to install Baldur's Gate II - Shadow of Amn and a message box stating 'Error installing iKernel.exe: (0x1400)'. When I click on the Ok button in the message box, the process terminates. Has anyone else run across this? Know of any possible work-arounds? (I'm running Wine CVS from 07-27-2002) Thanx, Ian

[PATCH v2 0/4] drm/dp_mst: Fix regressions from new atomic VCPI helpers
This fixes the extra issues I discovered upstream after the introduction of my rework of the atomic VCPI helpers that occur during suspend/resume. This time around, we use a slightly different but much less complicated approach for fixing said issues. Hello John, I tried (until now) to get a valuable backtrace, but it seems that GDB can't resolve all symbols. Lighttpd works fine in development. Production not happening
Hello, I''ve checked out my rails tree from svn into the location I intend to run in production mode. However, I am unclear on what exactly needs to change for it to work in production mode. Yes I have: "bin-environment" => ("RAILS_ENV" => "production") When I switch to the externally routed IP address instead of 0.0.0.0:3000 and try running: %

imap-login hanging when firewall blocks ssl handshaking
imap-login processes are hanging (using 100% of CPU) when connected from a client that is partially blocked by a firewall. It appears that imap-login is stuck in a loop trying to complete an ssl handshake. imap-login is working fine for other clients not blocked by the firewall (including localhost). This is dovecot 2.1.10 under Mac OS X 10.8.2 (compiled from sources); the firewall is Little

Problems with building a complete kernel
I have a plain vanilla Centos source (not 100% sure where we got it from), but I can't seem to get a build that installs correctly. I tried the method described at http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Custom_Kernel, but rpm doesn't like the output file, and even if I install it with -F, nothing seems to happen - no new kernel, now initrd, nothing. When I tried following the directions in the

System hangs up every day
Hello everybody Unfortunately my problem still doesn't have any solution. But I have an interesting observation. The gateway freezes very quickly, if torrent client programs are running on workstations. I assume the cause of the problem consists in many number of TCP/IP connections that torrent client establishes. Any ideas? Maybe I can tune somehow a TCP/IP via kernel, sysctl or pf settings?

School Software with WINE
Hello, The network administrators for the school I work for have recent left and also left the network in a rather large mess. There are files such as pictures being stored in random folders on random computers all around the network leaving valuable data vulnerable. I'm hoping to move over from the older windows system to a new linux based thin client configuration with ltsp. So far I am
