curious behavior with ssh OpenSSH_3.9p1
.../2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090704f) after some time. the times seem variable. the process is still alive on the remote site. I can connect to another red hat machine on the same site with longer sessions. This computer has an older version of openssh (red hat OpenSSH_3.4p1, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090602f) This did not happen until I've changed my modem/router to a linksys wcg200. when the red-hat machine connects to a solaris machine at work there are no hang ups. I fear that the combination of the modem, solaris and ssh is causing the problem and I have tried every angle I could think of th...

[Bug 202] New: scp/ssh hangs
...edBy: zheyang at cis.upenn.edu CC: zheyang at cis.upenn.edu The program "scp" hangs invariably on large files (mine is 18M in length). This behavior is observed with SSH version 3.1p1 under both Windows XP platform and Linux [OpenSSH_3.1p1, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090602f]. The sshd server is running on SunOS 5.8 (solaris). I don't know its version, but the accompanying ssh program shows "SSH version 1.2.32 [sparc-sun-solaris2.7], protocol version 1.5". I think that streaming under "ssh" doesn't work either: for example, X-connect...

stty: : Operation not supported on transport endpoint
Hi! I am using OpenSSH_3.6.1p2, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090701f on my Mandrake 9.1 machine. I used to run fetchmail to get emails from IRIX 6.3 system which has OpenSSH_3.4p1, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090602f. I had to reinstall my Mandrake, and after that ssh gives me strange error messages. When I run command: ssh -f -L 1234:irixhost.somedomain.fi:110 irixhost.somedomain.fi sleep 5 on my Mandrake I get stty error mentioned on subject line. Also when I run: [tkn at localhost tkn]$ scp foobar...
