merge two matrices
Dear R-help members
I would be grateful if anyone could help me with the following problem: I would like to combine two matrices (SCH_15 and SCH_16, they are attached) which have a species presence/absence x sampling plot structure. The aim would be to have in the end only one matrix which shows all existing species and their presence/absence on all the different plots(an_1, an_2 etc.)

data summary and some automated t.tests.

Missing data (Na) and chi-square tests
Dear everyone
I am a bit of a computer imbecile and are having problems with R.
I am using R in my research project to do chi-square tests on data imported
from excel .
However I have som missing data in one of my variables (columns) and I need
R to "exclude" these and make chi-square test on the data that I have.
I use a formula to make 2x2 tables which is:

reordering levels error
...apply(v, x, FUN, ...) : arguments must have same length

I suspect that I need to add the levels before I melt the dataset
?but either way I have only use 'reorder' once before and can't figure

is there an equivalent of prop.table but for counts
...ptable and i want to obtain the
same structure that prop.table creates except get the counts
rather than the proportions. margin.table seems to create one table with
columns and rows whereas I am looking for the three table
type structure that prop.table gives. Thanks.

How to generate a conditional dummy in R?
