Creation of additional image within a domU
...k? Not sure if that''s possible for a file-based image.
Can''t run it within the domU
2 - run dd to create another partiton? Not sure how that would work
3 - create the new image from scratch and create the new partition as
required and tell /etc/fstab about it.

Numbering of releases
Am I right in thinking that the numbering of the versions are in synch
with the gcc version that one is recommened to build with? In other
words "use gcc version 3.foo".

xen and wireless domUs
...there
is an /etc/rc.foo/bah script in the reference above that''s very Redhat
specific. Has any one something similar on a Debian system? I know (or
think) that the next step is to allow the domUs access to the outside
world but I''m not sure how this is done.

domUs not booting 2-core box, clues required
...since the last restart). Refusing to restart to avoid loops"
I used on_crash = ''preserve'' for the config file of a domain but
was unable to xm console <id>.
What clues could I look for or what parameters to use for building
either dom0 or domU?

Cobbler or manual set up for local repo
Chaps,
Is cobbler overkill or is it simpler to set up a local repo and rsync
it with a mirror?

USB keys
Well, we wanted to put an install on a USB key. Neither I nor the other
admin was amused by the singing and dancing that the wiki offers - and
just *why* is it that syslinux is broken?
At any rate, I did some googling, and found
<http://www.pendrivelinux.com/>, and I ran this installer.
Ok, it has some bugs: a) I had several .isos, and it *insisted* on
grabbing the first one,

Best way to exploit VT chip
...before. If I wanted
to would it be better to use vnc or SDL?
How about qemu, would that be good for a VT-enabled machine?
Or why not just go the "simple" way and use kvm+qemu?
Thanks in advance for any comments, tips or answers that you may be
able to provide.

Recommended partitioning for xen host
Is there a recommended partitioning for dom0?
Here''s what I have planned.
/swap 2GB
/boot 100MB (ext3)
/ 5GB (ext3)
xenmachines LVM volume group for the remaining diskspace
dom0 will install in 5GB / and each domU will have a swap and root
logical volume in "xenmachines"
Thank you,
