Fwd: RE: OCFS Hang
...toms sound *very* similar. The patch has supposedly been merged into the source tree but I don't think they've released a new version of OCFS since the merge. (Sunil or Wim - do you know if this bugfix was included in 1.0.11-1?) Check http://oss.oracle.com/pipermail/ocfs-users/2004-March/000192.html For the geek [technical] description, check http://oss.oracle.com/pipermail/ocfs-users/2004-March/000185.html or http://www.asugroup.com/ocfsbugfix.txt Jeremy >>> "Doering, Randy" <Randy.Doering@ventersciencejtc.org> 04/19/2004 6:23:52 PM >>> Kurt, Thanks...

OCFS Hang
Greetings, Having read about the previous OSFS hangs, I think this one that we are seeing is different, but I'm not sure if this is caused by OCFS or the Linux OS. We are running OCFS Version 1.09 with Linux AS 3.0/9i RAC. We have a 2 node Intel Cluster (Node 1 and Node 2). This morning the DBA tried to do an "ls" command on /u06/oradata/database

alpm(4) I/O range is claimed by ACPI
Hi, How can I load the alpm(4) module for SMBus support on my ASUS Vintage AH-1 system? It appears the I/O range it uses is claimed by the acpi(4) driver. Can I override the mapping in some way i.e. tell ACPI not to claim the range? I don't see anything obvious about this in the acpi(4) man page. thanks, BMS
