static libgcc issue on solaris 8
Hello all,
little question. Has somebody already compiled samba on SunOS 5.8
because I cannot statically link libgcc libraries.
I already tried "gcc -static-libgcc", added "-lgcc_s" to LIBS variable
but always the same result.
Below resulted compiled binary ..

Problems with alpha3 + openssl-0.9.8
Has anybody successfully compiled alpha 3 with the newly released
openssl-0.9.8? I just wasted the weekend trying to get dovecot to
compile using the new openssl libs. Openssl-0.9.7d works like dream.
Just wanted to know if anybody had this combo working.

Crash with OpenSSL 0.9.8 and OpenSSH 4.2p1
Hi,
I'm using OpenSSL 0.9.8 with OpenSSH 4.2p1
I can ssh <hostname> and connect successfully.
The very next time I get a crash and core file.
The next time is successful. The next time a crash.
I'm using the authmethod gssapi-with-mic using Windows 2000 as the KDC
running ssh and sshd from a Solaris 9 box.
Here's the backtrace from the core file:
(gdb) bt

flashget.exe does not work with wine 0.9.9 and later but it does with 0.9.8
Hi, all
Flashget.exe works well with wine 0.9.8.
If I use wine 0.9.9 and later, flashget.exe pops up a message "Failed
to create empty document".
ps.
1. flashget version is latest 1.71
1. the config is default, no dcom98 installed
2. I also install dcom98, but flashget.exe still doesn't work
I use the the command to dump messages, and the dump of difference
between 0.9.8 and 0.9.10

Upgrade 0.9.8 to 0.9.12 issues
Hi all
Anything special I need to do upgrading from 0.9.8 to 0.9.12?
I run a few important Win apps and a recent change lost such things as
virtual windows (black boxes) and all the text was super small greeked
or non existent. Going back to 0.9.8 showed no permanent damage. Winecfg
was impossible to read/use.
Do I need to run wineprefixcreate? Didnt see anything in the winehq FAQ

Win32/MSVC compilation for 0.9.8
Hiya,
I'm working on updating the MSVC build files for 0.9.8 (I've been
assuming that it's not worth doing this for 0.9.7).
One small problem; we can't build the remote backend in this environment
because the network code is waay too Unixy. Thus I'm getting a problem
building some of the tests; specifically test_serialisedoc1() and
test_serialiselength1() in

previously mentioned. I erased the 0.9.8 version first.
Then ran wineprefixcreate
Then launched winecfg; This is the screen output

notepad also had the same kind of output with small/non existant text
Tried installing fonts from the winetools folder I had before, thinking

dovecot 1.2.6 fails to build with openssl < 0.9.8
The update of ssl_proxy_get_security_string() in dovecot 1.2.6 has
broken compatibility with openssl < 0.9.8 (e.g. on RHEL4) because the
functions SSL_COMP_get_name and SSL_get_current_compression don't exist
until openssl 0.9.8 (build fails at link time due to these symbols
being unresolved). I've worked around this by reverting the function to
the 1.2.5 version for now but I think a

Windows won't resize (wine 0.9.8)
I'm running wine 0.9.8-r1 on gentoo with blackbox 0.70.0 as the window
manager on two screens. Wine works almost perfectly, and I can run
windows programs fine, but while I can move wine windows around, I
cannot resize them. Windows come up at full screen width and height,
and so while I can maximize, that only recenters it to take up the
whole screen and does no resizing.

IE HTML rendering problem with wine 0.9.8
Hi! I installed both wine-0.9.8 and wine-0.9.9 and winetools. I've
installed IE 6 using winetools and IE 6 starts just fine but doesn't
render any HTML pages, but instead displays a "HTML rendering is
currently disabled" message.
I did some searching on Google and found this message on the wine-devel
mailing list:
