rep() fails at times=0.29*100
Dear list,
I have found an unusual behavior and would like to check if it is a
possible bug, and if updating R would fix it. I am not sure if should post
it in this mail list but I don't where is R bug tracker. The only mention I
found that might relate to this is "If times is a computed quantity it is
prudent to add a small fuzz." in rep() help, but not sure if it is related

help with heatmap - how to remove annoying "X" before numeric values?
Hello All,
I have a simple question based on how things are labeled on my heat map;
particularly, there is this annoying "X" that appears before the numeric
value of all the labels of my columns.
Let's say I have the following silly data, stored in "temp.txt"
1905 1910 1950 1992 2011 2020
Gnat 0.08 0.29 0.29 0.37 0.39 0.43

Is this a bug, or do I need to downgrade to 0.29?

Package ‘orcutt’ bug?
Hello~
Did any one have used the package 'orcutt' ?
I find that it can not work smoothly in a single variable regression. I use the example following, it function very well.
But when I regress "cons" on "price" (use the "reg1<-lm(cons~price+income+temp)") , then use "reg11<-cochrane.orcutt(reg1)
". There is an error message “Error in

Slow concurrent actions on the same LVM logical volume
Hi 2 all !
I have problems with concurrent filesystem actions on a ocfs2
filesystem which is mounted by 2 nodes. OS=RH5ES and OCFS2=1.2.6
F.e.: If I have a LV called testlv which is mounted on /mnt on both
servers and I do a "dd if=/dev/zero of=/mnt/test.a bs=1024
count=1000000" on server 1 and do at the same time a du -hs
/mnt/test.a it takes about 5 seconds for du -hs to execute:

tftp-hpa 0.28, 0.29 interoperability problem
Hi,
I have a tftp client which loads quite happily from a tftpd built
from netkit-tftp-0.16 but which fails to load from from a tftpd built
from tftp-hpa 0.29. In both cases, tftpd was built from pristine
sources and run from xinetd under Redhat 7.3.
[netkit-tftp-0.16 is the ancestor of tftp-hpa, predating HPA's
maintenance of same]
[the tftp client also..
.. fails with the prebuilt tftpd

Converting array to matrix
Hi,
I have a 3d array as below, I want to make this array to a matrix of p=50(rows) and n=20(columns) with the coverage values .
The code before the array is:
library(binom)
Loading required package: lattice
pi.seq<-seq(from = 0.01, to = 0.5, by = 0.01)
no.seq<-seq(from = 5, to = 100, by = 5)
cp.all = binom.coverage( p = pi.seq, n = no.seq , conf.level = 0.95, method = "exact")
