The proposed solution of Dan's problem posted on R-help was:

Hello,
When using write.table I am getting two variables pasted together (not

OK, Let's try this again! Here is the reproducible script; it is long because I had to copy the panel dataset here. My question is related to systemfit; I don't know how to get the result for the entire panel.

Sadly you failed to set your email program to send plain text and the data is corrupted at my end.
I also think you need to reduce the size of the data set... the intent here is to increase your understanding, not debug your particular analysis.
I will say that I am having a very challenging time understanding what you are trying to accomplish though. What are the equations that you think need

Pasting the code right into the email is usually safest, though you DO have to post using plain text (as the Posting Guide indicates) or your code may get mangled by the automatic html format removal.

Unless there is good reason not to, always cc the list -- there are lots of
smarter folks than I on it who can help.
I may or may not have time to look at this. Hopefully someone else will.

reading in a tricky computer program output
Hi R user
I need to read in some values from a computer program output.
I can't change the output format because the developer of the program
doesn't allow to change the format of output.
There are two formats.
First one looks like this

I have been able to finally crunch my data by

here we go again..
Now I'am trying to do it for the the whole year.
Since the
dataset is huge I'm only making a 3 weeks dataframe.
- I want to get the mean of pd by week
- I want to count the number of days by week and bind
it to the existing dataframe(x)

Beginners Question: Make nlm work
Hello,
I'm new to this and am trying to teach myself some R by plotting
biological data. The growth curve in question is supposed to be fitted
to the Verhulst equation, which may be transcribed as follows:
f(x)=a/(1+((a-0.008)/0.008)*exp(-(b*x)))
- for a known population density (0.008) at t(0).
I am trying to rework the example from "An Introduction to R" (p. 72)

How to get prediction for a variable in WinBUGS?
Dear all,I am a new user of WinBUGS and need your help. After running the following code, I got parameters of beta0 through beta4 (stats, density), but I don't know how to get the prediction of the last value of h, the variable I set to NA and want to model it using the following code.Does anyone can given me a hint? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Best

How to select a whole column? Thanks!
Dear all,
I hope to remove a whole column from a data frame or matrix (> 2000
columns). All value in the column are same. The first thing is to
select those columns.
For instance, I hope to remove the V3~6 column, for all the value in
those colume is zero.

Exception while using NeweyWest function with doMC
Dear R users,
I am using R right now for a simulation of a model that needs a lot of
memory. Therefore I use the *bigmemory* package and - to make it faster -
the *doMC* package. See my code posted on http://pastebin.com/dFRGdNrG
Now, if I use the foreach loop with the addon %do% (for sequential run) I
have no problems at all - only here and there some singularities in
regressor matrices which
