Mandi! Luis Peromarta via samba In chel di` si favelave...> Not sure what your question is but I do set up printers and associate drivers like this: > http://samba.bigbird.es/doku.php?id=samba:print-server > http://samba.bigbird.es/doku.php?id=samba:automatic-driversYes, exactly the same way. Simply suddenly i've lost all printer (eg, lost printer<->driver association, and printer names). I'm curious on where these info get saved, because if i backup a TDB i can, at least, restore or extract/dump some info and setup printers back. Note that in windows printer names are important, if you change printer name user smply lost them, so i've to restore exactly the printer name as before. Note also that i lost exactly only printer<->driver association and printer names: driver are still available and printer are there, provided by CUPS. Note also that, if i restore driver and printer name, i get back exactly the (default) printer configuration as before, so seems that (most of the) printer settings are still there. --

[Samba] Where samba store printer/driver information?
If printers are there and drivers are there you may need to manually re assign them with ?printer manager?
