If you set vfs objects on a share is overrides the global setting.
It is documented in man 5 smb.conf

"Be aware that the definition of this parameter will overwrite a
possible previous definition of the vfs objects parameter."
I.e. you have to repeat what you had in vfs objects global or you lose
it on that specific share.
The setting I posted earlier is in global on my DCs, I have a similar
(but slightly different) vfs objects setting on the fileserver
