Yes, the crash should be investigated first. What isn't helping is the sanitisation We have been given DOMAIN/WORKGROUP 'AD' The connecting user appears to be from the 'ADLOCAL' DOMAIN/WORKGROUP The REALM is 'AD.UCHICAGO.EDU' but the log fragments show what appears to be the machines FQDN 'midway3-dm1.rcc.local' Nothing matches.
