Hey folks, I'm experiencing some weird errors all of a sudden. I have not made any changes to the config but for some reason I cannot create files/directories on my network share. An example would be the error I get when I try to update the virus signatures on my portable ClamWin install: ERROR: Can't open ..\..\..\Data\log\ClamScanLog.txt in append mode (check permissions!). ERROR: Problem with internal logger (UpdateLogFile ..\..\..\Data\log\ClamScanLog.txt). The file is there, and the unix permissions are 664. On a whim, I deleted the file, and re-ran freshclam. Result was this: ERROR: chdir_tmp: Can't create directory \\jupiter2\dan\PortableApps\ClamWinPortable\Data\db\clamav-d8c9cba4109568384d64b0ccd5d6a9e5.00000f7c.clamtmp\clamav-b2dfa357fa4bd32330ae2c71e725716c.00000f7c.clamtmp WARNING: Incremental update failed, trying to download daily.cvd ERROR: getfile: Can't create new file \\jupiter2\dan\PortableApps\ClamWinPortable\Data\db\clamav-d8c9cba4109568384d64b0ccd5d6a9e5.00000f7c.clamtmp\clamav-5eaa22c947caeb4bca86654fb5327332.00000f7c.clamtmp in \\jupiter2\dan\PortableApps\Cl amWinPortable\Data\db: Permission denied WARNING: Can't download daily.cvd from database.clamav.net why on earth could it not create a directory?
