It seems there is also a yast-modul for ad: "yast2-samba-provision" Also in openSuse-build-service you can easy build what you want for older releases, too Best Regards Markus

Does it work ? There are several problems with using MIT on a Samba AD DC, so it is still regarded as a WIP. If you are going to use the openSuse-build-service, then surely this is the same as just building Samba yourself and there are a lot of establishments where this is not allowed. Rowland

We'll be improving it, but we certainly do have users that run it successfully.

Since Leap 15.0 openSUSE is providing a package set out of the box with MIT Kerberos support. However, I have not been able to test those as the packages are shaped a bit different from mine... Hi, I would just say I couldn't make the migration from heidmal to mit with opensuse leap15. I filled a bug about this issue: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13517 Starting with a brand new domain seems to work though I didn't push the test very far. I have however successfully installed this with 42.3. Johannes??? How come, when I goto: https://software.opensuse.org/package/samba4 I do not see OpenSUSE Leap 15.0 nor your repo listed? -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
