If you mean when Samba is running as an AD DC, then it is replicated to any other DC in the domain. If you mean Openldap with Samba's users and groups etc stored in it, then yes, see Openldaps documentation. If you mean something else, please supply more info. Rowland

As an AD DC ? As an NT4-style pdc ? As a standalone server ? or what ? Just saying 'same base as of samba4' isn't enough. As you can see, you can set samba4 up in multiple ways. Rowland

If your new DC is another location, use 'sites', see here: https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Active_Directory_Sites Rowland
