I encountered such a problem yesterday. Luckly not in the office..

But thats kernel 4.7
Now i saw my debian systems is running 3.16.0 kernel ( cifs 2.03 ), anyone tried
a 4.7 kernel already?

The minimum version for use of the Linux kernel SMB3 support is kernel version
3.12 (or backport of cifs.ko module version 2.02 or later)
but kernel version 3.18 or later (or equivalent, ie cifs module version 2.04 or
later) is recommended for best SMB3 support.
And I saw in the win10 the SMB Direct so i was bit reading into this.
Im looking in to the SMB 3.0 over RDMA, i can asume this is not implementes yet?
