[Samba] downgrade the Windows Server 2012 schema and run "domain join"
Hi list. According to the Samba wiki, in order to join an additional Samba DC: The forests schema must be maximum at version 47 (Server 2008 R2) . Then, is impossible to migrate from windows Server 2012/ 2012_R2 to Samba4 ? What if I downgrade the schema version? Is that possible? Regards, Phil.

Is that possible?A migration to Samba4 should work, but replication back may not work. (I've had a client running in that situation). To test if a migration will be possible at all, you can run the new 'samba-tool drs clone-dc-database' command. We continue to find and fix schema bugs - a number have been fixed recently, or will be fixed soon.
