I've got an existing AD domain with a couple of Windows domain controllers, and I'm trying to migrate the AD domain over to Samba, or at least add a couple of Samba DCs. I've added the samba DCs, verified that DNS is correct, and I have all the sysvol stuff replicating over between the controllers. Things seem to be working correctly, except when I do a "gpupdate /force" on a system that has logged in to that controller, I get an error during the group policy update. The user policy update succeeds, but the computer update fails with the following error: The processing of Group Policy failed. Windows could not authenticate to the Active Directory service on a domain controller. (LDAP Bind function call failed.) Can anyone provide any insight on why I'd be getting this error, or the steps I should take to track down the issue? I can provide configuration files or logging, if necessary.
