[Samba] Samba 3.5.4 canonicalize_connect_path failed for service
Hi, Jeremy, I know our linux os is too old, but there is some histories that I have few choices to update. I can try newer samba version, if that helps. But, do you know how to solve this question at first? Hope you kindly share some of your experiences. Thank you. So, even if your problem could be identified, it is very very unlikely to get a fix. As you seem to be using RHEL 6 and if you have a maintenance contract with them, I would suggest discussing your problem with them, though I have a feeling they will suggest exactly what Jeremy suggested, but they may go further and suggest you upgrade your OS as well. [Samba] Samba 3.5.4 canonicalize_connect_path failed for service
Hi, Rowland, Thanks to you and Jeremy for giving me suggestions. Since Samba 3.5 went EOL, I'll skip 3.5.4 and try newer version. Thank you. 2015-10-22 15:49 GMT+08:00 Rowland Penny <rowlandpenny241155 at gmail.com>:> On 22/10/15 01:38, Roger Wu wrote: > >> Hi, Jeremy, >> >> I know our linux os is too old, but there is some histories that I have >> few >> choices to update. >> >> I can try newer samba version, if that helps.
