this module doesn't seem to want to work on anything but a root ubuntu filesystem. It won't work on any external drives or secondary drives just the main one. This poses as a problem for a system with several drives. if i delete on a secondary drive of any sort with any use in a samba share over smb i get the folders placed in the recycle bin but no file. I have a sent copy of the config and such so i hope that helps. It would be helpful if someone got back to me
Hi Logan. No smb.conf attached. Try copy and paste directly in to the mail. I had a similar problem with acl_attr using a dedicated datadisk created with mdam and LVM where the LVMs had a samba share. After adding acl_attr to every share definition the problem was resolved. Remove acl_attr at the end. It's another vfs object. The share name indicates that there might be quite large files. Do you hit a default(?) max limit which tells Samba to just discard the file?
