samba - Dec 2014 - Samba error , can`t create folder prn .

This is very strange error! 
Server Samba: 3.6.6 , 3.6.3 , 4.0.13.
Clients: Windows XP , Windows 7.
I can not create folder prn .
Other folders are created.

This isn't a Samba problem. This is a Windows limitation. Windows won't
let you create file/folders with the name of devices like prn, lpt1,
con, etc.

IIRC "prn" is an old magic DOS file/device name for printer.

There you go. PRN, AUX, CON and a couple of others can not be used as 
file names.
