-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, I just set up a CTDB-Cluster with two nodes. In /var/log/log.ctdb I saw the following error many times: - ---------- ERROR: samba tcp port 445, is not responding - ---------- the command "ctdb scriptstatus" is showing: - ---------- root at fs1:~# ctdb scriptstatus 11 scripts were executed last monitor cycle 00.ctdb Status:OK Duration:0.031 Fri Dec 5 14:00:52 2014 01.reclock Status:OK Duration:0.125 Fri Dec 5 14:00:52 2014 10.interface Status:OK Duration:0.215 Fri Dec 5 14:00:52 2014 11.natgw Status:OK Duration:0.021 Fri Dec 5 14:00:53 2014 11.routing Status:OK Duration:0.037 Fri Dec 5 14:00:53 2014 13.per_ip_routing Status:OK Duration:0.021 Fri Dec 5 14:00:53 2014 20.multipathd Status:DISABLED 31.clamd Status:DISABLED 40.vsftpd Status:OK Duration:0.020 Fri Dec 5 14:00:53 2014 41.httpd Status:OK Duration:0.023 Fri Dec 5 14:00:53 2014 50.samba Status:ERROR Duration:0.392 Fri Dec 5 14:00:53 2014 OUTPUT:ERROR: samba tcp port 445, is not responding - ---------- But a "netstat -tlpn" shows port 445 and 139 listening. Testparm -v shows port 445 and 139 as aktiv. As soon as I change the port in /etc/sysconfig/ctdb from "445" to "139" everything works fine. After the change all nodes become "healthy". Is this a bug? Or did I do something wrong? CTDB checks for Port "445," and not "445", since Samba changed the display format.
