Hello, I am configuring Samba for the first time and I have configured it on a Solaris 10 server. I believe I have everything setup correctly. The smbd daemon is running and I performed a test with the smbclient. The problem I'm now having is from the windows client. From the Windows client I map a drive, I log in with the user account and passwd, when I click to connect, I don't get an indication that I have connected to the share or not. I haven't received an error that it didn't work but I haven't received access to the Samba share either. Any ideas? Thanks! Reg This message and any attachments are confidential. Do the samba logs indicate anything? Are there any messages in the windows event logs indicating a problem?
