Hi, When I transfer a file from Windows to my unix machine using Samba, is it possible in Samba to get the absolute path of the destination directory in the unix machine to which the file is being copied to? Please clarify. -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/Absolute-path-of-file-transferred-using-samba-tp26883560p26883560.html Sent from the Samba - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

But you'd have to have rights to do so. Jeremy.
