samba - Nov 2003 - --with-pam and --with-pam_smbpass

Hi all,

What is with-pam and with-pam_smbpass means?
I'm using ldap based authentication (via nss_ldap) and i need ldap
backend in samba, should i build using with-pam option? what is the
impact if i did not build with-pam support?
