Dear Group, I installed samba3.0 and got it running. But from yesterday evening onwards, no client is able to logon to samba shares. If I perform wbinfo -u, I see all user, if I make net ads testjoin, I am getting a successful response. I took a look to the log file, at log:smb I am getting following message, each time I try to logon to shares: "/tmp does not exist or is not a directory when connecting to [IPC$]" At log.windbindd I am finding following message: user 'root ' does not exists No idea what I did wrong, because system was working.
