samba - Aug 2003 - change password during first logon

Dear all,
         Does anybody know whether samba able to force the user to change 
their password during their
first logon or enable min/max password age to particular user? I know there 
a program called pdbedit
are able to do that. Any other alternatives ?

Hi all,
    When I attempt to join my samba server domain from Win 2000 client, I triend
the following steps:-
1) Right click 'My computer' > Properties 
2) Network Identification > Properties
3) Choose 'Member of' & Fill  'LINUXSMB' in Domain 
4) Enter 'Name' : root
5) 'Password' : samba123
 
The errors are : 
'The credentials supplied conflict with an existing set of credentials.'
 
 
Any clues ????????? Thank you!!!!
